World Water Day Celebration

The celebration of World Water Day in 2024 represents a significant opportunity to raise community awareness of the priceless value of water and the importance of its conservation to ensure a sustainable future for our planet. The eTwinning "Green Planet" project of the 2nd C class of the IC DIAZ of Laterza (TA) fits perfectly into this context, proposing an initiative that aims to actively involve students in the defense of water resources through creativity and collective commitment.

The creation of a poster with the writing "There is life on earth only because there is water on the earth", a phrase proposed by the students of the "Traian Lalescu" High School in Hunedoara, Romania, is an effective way to communicate a message powerful and direct. This slogan immediately captures attention on the indissoluble link between life on Earth and the existence of water, stimulating deep reflection on the importance of preserving this precious commodity. Students, through art and creativity, can express their vision and raise awareness within the school community and beyond of the urgency of adopting responsible behavior to protect water.
